PMI, LLC Offers Many Services to Help You Succeed!
Doctor…
- Are you worried about passing a medical records audit or review?
- Are you confident that your office is choosing the correct codes and
- Representing your services and billing patients and insurers correctly?
- Do your fees represent the value of your services and result in income commensurate with the needs of your practice?
- Is your staff properly trained to deal with the challenges of coding properly, submitting claims, dealing with HIPAA and other compliance issues, wrestling with insurance company representatives, answering patients’ questions about their insurance coverage?

PMI, LLC exists to help with those challenges and has created these programs to get the job done:
- Doctor/Staff Education: Over 300 eye care seminars through all fifty states.
 - PMI Fee Analysis: Submit your current fees; either online or via fax, snailmail or email; and PMI creates a spreadsheet and provides a two-page letter explaining how your fees compare with national data. You then have the opportunity to adjust your fees, resubmit them, receive additional input from us, and continue the process until you have a fee schedule that serves your patients and your office well.
 - Medical Records Review: PMI staff contacts your staff to help them decide which types of medical records should be reviewed. PMI reviews each chart, grades the visit and the procedures in order to determine the correct coding, and compares PMI’s coding choices with those of your office. PMI returns a spreadsheet showing how your office ‘scored’, as well as helpful hints about making your medical records and the grading and billing process more effective for you.
 - Practice IMPACT On-Site Office Consultation: PMI representatives travel to your office to provide direct education to doctors and staff and consultation to doctors and key staff regarding medical records and dealing with insurers.
 - Each Practice IMPACT visit is preceded by Medical Records Reviews by PMI experts, Fee Analysis and identification of key challenges to be dealt with during the visit. The visit will include a two-hour presentation for your entire staff to help them understand the importance of good medical records. There will also be time for counseling with key staff and individual doctors, as well as sample forms for medical records, route slips, case history forms, etc. Practice IMPACT will set your practice on a course for compliance and financial success in dealing with insurers and other third party payers.
- Online Education: PMI has created its first online course, available through this website, to help doctors and staff understand key rules and regulations relative to medical records and making accurate choices of codes to report eye care services provided.
 - Email Newsletter: PMI created ForeSight 20/15, a newsletter that drops right into the email box of nearly one thousand offices each month. Each issue is dedicated to answering readers’ questions and providing updates on major medical insurers; private and governmental. Access our archives here
. - Online Consulting: Doctors and staff contract with PMI, LLC and use email and toll free calls to ask questions and receive quick, concise and accurate answers and suggestions relative to their daily challenges.
- Medical Record Forms, Route Slips, Case History Forms…PMI has designed forms to help you with patient care and to comply with federal guidelines for medical records.
